The Embraer E190-E2 keeps the Embraer E190's four-abreast cabin but replaces nearly everything else - a new high-aspect-ratio wing, Pratt & Whitney PW1900G geared turbofans and closed-loop fly-by-wire - cutting fuel burn per seat by about 17% and stretching Embraer's full-passenger range figure to 2,950 nm.

The E190-E2 has 47% more ferry range than the E190.
